Commissioner for human rights of the Perm Oblast T.I. Margolina and head of a women’s non-governmental organization from Perm O.G.Pavlova jointly held a series of events: a round table on the topic “Legal Activities of Trans-Kama Region’s Women” with participation of representatives of executive and legislative authorities of the region; sociological survey of population on the topic of women’s rights (its results were discussed at the local mass media); and establishment of the “Women’s Alliance” network organization in the region.

Tatiana Margolina and Olga Pavlova have been trained by the Consortium during a joint gender educational workshop of the Russian ombudsmen and leaders of regional NGOs. We believe that these series of events are logical results of the workshop.
