Gender analysis of the Parliament Elections of 1999 and Presidential Elections of 2000 in Russia were performed by Svetlana Aivazova, doctor of politology, leading researcher of the Institute of the Comparative Politology, Russian Academy of Sciences, author of the book ‘Russian Women in the Labyrinth of Equality’ and Grigory Kertman – Ph.D. in History, researcher of the Institute of Comparative Politology, Russian Academy of Sciences, expert of the Public Opinion Foundation.
